Gold Spike Assistant General Manager

Gold Spike is looking for a wildly passionate Assistant General Manager. We are looking for an individual who is extremely flexible, eager to tackle new challenges, and comfortable working in an unconventional (but super fun) environment.   

Here are the details:

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of FOH daily operations
  • Mentor, train, and support team of 4 Assistant Managers
  • Lead, develop and oversee a team of 35+ employees including hiring, employee development, staffing, scheduling, training and employee relations matters
  • Enhance the overall guest experience through identifying operational opportunities and work with the team to find resolution
  • Responsible for all areas of revenue, property maintenance, and labor management
  • Monitor and ensure effective inventory control, ordering, and asset protection management
  • Maintain short-term and long-term financial goals set by the Operations team
  • Ensure high-level of guest service/ hospitality in all aspects of operations; including necessary sequence of service, and guest service training

  • Exceptional guest service skills and experience

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in hospitality management, business administration or related field
  • Minimum three (3) years F&B/Nightlife management experience
  • Thorough working knowledge of all aspects of F&B including but not limited to; revenue management, cost analysis, inventory controls, profit/loss statements, budgeting and staff administration
