Job Summary: Embrace, build, and encourage DTP culture and core values while driving Human Resources initiatives for all DTP locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement human resources initiatives aligned with overall business strategy, company values, and mission
  • Maintain expert knowledge of state, local and federal employment laws such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, WC, ERISA and UC
  • Enthusiastically support, promote and demonstrate the company’s values in all interactions
  • Oversee employee relations processes, conduct investigations and make recommendations for disciplinary action according to employment laws based on facts gathered
  • Implement employee surveys, evaluate feedback and create strategic goals around overall result.
  • Work to enhance the focus on the organizational values, culture events, and inclusiveness across the company
  • Evaluate Employee Relations Issues and work to design training programs to better support the business and reduce company risk.
  • Evaluate the employee experience from recruitment through separation. Identify opportunities to develop the business leaders to create solutions.
  • Analyze data to create reports, presentations and make recommendations for human resources best practices
  • Identify training needs within the business units: develop curriculum and support the People Ops Training and Communications Coordinator as necessary with facilitation.
  • Manage benefits administration processes and maintain relationships with broker and carriers
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all payroll and human resources records and correspondence
  • Manage the unemployment compensation claims process, providing detailed claim documentation to respond to state requests with urgency
  • Assist with facilitating identified training programs for properties including, but not limited to: new hire orientation, customer service and leadership and development training
  • Partner with management team to understand business and opportunities to assist in developing human resources initiatives at all locations
  • Oversee Workers’ Compensation injury reporting and ensure that proper documentation is received and processed
  • Oversee company safety program and OSHA policies and procedures
  • Manage independent contractor process from approval of independent contractor assignment, completion of agreement, tracking of renewals and termination of agreement
  • Oversee certification process and approval of requests for FMLA and LOAs
  • Oversee ADA requests and manage the interactive ADA process
  • Recruit top talent for exempt level positions
  • Facilitate exit interviews and assist with analyzing turnover reports and provide recommendations based on findings
  • Manage onboarding and off boarding processes to ensure seamless employee experience
  • Coach and mentor People Operations team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of state, local and federal employment laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong hands-on curriculum building and facilitation experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other relevant degree preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related Human Resources experience
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred
  • Previous experience working with ADP, Workforce Now strongly preferred
